This stage mainly consists of planning and conceptualising a script Till, based off a book, another movie, a true story, or can even be an original concept. After approval, the director works with the writers to come up with a step-by-step outline of the progression of the film. Many aspiring screenwriters are unaware that the majority of dramas written for the big screen are written exclusively by A-list writers. Does this mean you shouldnt write dramas? It means youll really need to have a strong plot/character conflict to make it work as a first sale, but dont be surprised if you receive few, if any, requests for a read.
Pre-Production
In this phase, the key objective is to narrow down options and plan the development of the movie in terms of Till film cast, film crew, and budget. The production stage is when the actual practical Till film production work begins. The primary aim is to stick to the budget and schedule, which requires constant attentiveness. Director: Chinonye Chukwu, Production Co: Frederick Zollo Productions [US] will be producing this film. Wont this take away from the big action elements and visualization? It really depends on how you handle it, but remember if youve integrated strong character stuff into the story the explosion wont make or break it either way because the audience will be involved in the whole story, not just the action.
Photography
Till Photography is essentially the most expensive phase in film production. This is because of the salaries owed to the actor, director and set crew, as well as the costs of certain shots, props and special effects, if needed. All the previous stages have been set to ensure the smooth transition of photography. This is where the camera rolls, so it is important for the film director to follow the schedule and remain within the budget. Genre: Drama. And if you dont have that great idea yet, this is a good way to uncover it.
Wrap – Till
The period immediately after the shooting ends, when all the cameras are turned off. During this stage of Till, everything gets disassembled and the set is cleared of the cast and crew. All equipment and props must be returned in a functioning order, to the suppliers and there must be an inventory list. So you dont have a premise yet? No problem! Generating the initial idea is a part of the writing process that people rarely spend enough time on, and it is crucial if you want to develop a riveting story, even more crucial if you have any hope of earning money as a writer. You are going to spend two years of your life, minimum, on this project of yours (and thats truly a minimum, even if youre e publishing). Even if you do have a great idea already, in fact, even if youre launching into a second draft, I believe the thought processes laid out in this chapter are an important step to work through. Its really useful to allow yourself to do freeform brainstorming, to see what themes and characters are rolling around in your head that might just help you with the new project. Dont you think you better be sure this is the right book to write before you start?
