Development

This stage mainly consists of planning and conceptualising a script We’re Wolves, based off a book, another movie, a true story, or can even be an original concept. After approval, the director works with the writers to come up with a step-by-step outline of the progression of the film. Note: Do not write WITHOUT SOUND…that’s improper format. Use MOS and look like a pro.

Pre-Production

In this phase, the key objective is to narrow down options and plan the development of the movie in terms of We’re Wolves film cast, film crew, and budget. A line manager or production manager is usually hired during this process to create a schedule and manage the budget for the film. Pre-production also includes figuring out the shoot location. John and Sandra speak at a table MOS.

The production stage is when the actual practical We’re Wolves film production work begins. The primary aim is to stick to the budget and schedule, which requires constant attentiveness. The film director works with the cast and crew to ensure that everything goes as planned. Communication is key between all the involved parties.  Production Co: Defender Films [NZ] will be producing this film. MOS means without sound. We’re seeing the characters speaking, but there’s no sound.

Photography

We’re Wolves Photography is essentially the most expensive phase in film production. This is because of the salaries owed to the actor, director and set crew, as well as the costs of certain shots, props and special effects, if needed. All the previous stages have been set to ensure the smooth transition of photography. This is where the camera rolls, so it is important for the film director to follow the schedule and remain within the budget. Genre: Comedy | Horror. Some very wise writer (unfortunately I have no idea who) said, “If it occurs to you to cut, do so.” This seems harsh and scary, I know. Often I’ll flag something in a manuscript as “Could cut,” and leave it in my draft for several passes until I finally bite the bullet and get rid of it. So, you know, that’s fine. Allow yourself to consider cutting something, first. No commitment! Then if you do, fine. But once you’ve considered cutting, you almost always will, eventually.

Wrap – We’re Wolves

The period immediately after the shooting ends, when all the cameras are turned off. During this stage of We’re Wolves, everything gets disassembled and the set is cleared of the cast and crew. All equipment and props must be returned in a functioning order, to the suppliers and there must be an inventory list. When you first start writing, you are reluctant to cut anything. Believe me, I remember. But the truth is, beginning writers very, very, very often duplicate scenes, and characters, too. And dialogue, oh man, do inexperienced writers duplicate dialogue! The same things happen over and over again, are said over and over again. It will be less painful for you to cut if you learn to look for and start to recognize when you’re duplicating scenes, actions, characters, and dialogue. Those are the obvious places to cut and combine.
